Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and flexible team members with high level communication skills to join us in supporting individuals with Autism within the Kensington area of Liverpool.
As a member of a team you will be listening to people with autism, understanding their preferences and needs. You will work alongside people, supporting them in a range of activities, including developing independence in daily living.
Senior Support Worker

39 hours per week
15,295 - 16,952 per annum pro rata based
on a 39 hour working week
You will be a full and active participant in the work of the team, demonstrating best practice and be a role model for your team, providing day to day support, guidance and direction to your team members. You may also be required to conduct formal supervisions.
Your role as Senior Support Worker will be central in supporting service users in a personalised way in order to achieve their goals and aspirations. You will be responsible for systems and processes including support planning, recording, finance, staffing and health and safety. You will be required to work on a rota basis including evenings, weekends, sleep-in duties and waking nights.
These positions are subject to an enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS). The cost of which will be met by Autism Initiatives.
Due to the needs of the services, a full driving licence is required.
