About the role
 Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join our Gas & Water business unit to work across various transient sites across the North West.

What you'll be doing
 As a Site Manager, you will:
  Be responsible for site activity from start to finish of construction of network; Supervise and monitor teams and individuals to consistently deliver value against budget; Ensure technical compliance to agreed policies and procedures; Support engineers with technical advice and problem resolution; Carry out Risk and COSHH Assessments, Method Statements, Safety and Quality inspections.  

Who we're looking for
 You will:
  Hold a valid CCN1 & MET 1 qualification (supervisor); Hold a valid U.K Clean Driving Licence; Be CDM/Risk Assessment trained or equivalent; Have direct supervisory experience in the utilities industry; Have experience in gas utilisation.

 In the gas sector, we work to expand and renew underground mains, often in busy and high-impact residential and commercial areas. We work closely with clients to manage and plan work intelligently in these areas, minimising the impact this essential work has on local communities.
